0:04

Morning, everybody. Vanessa here.

0:08

Oh, I see y’all. Everybody’s running a couple of minutes late, just like me. I can say it’s 12 o’clock right now.

0:16

I think we’re doing all right. Can everybody hear me?

0:20

Open up the questions. So I’ve got… let’s see. Hey Francesco, James. Hey Melissa.

0:29

I see Rebecca, Connie. Connie, you’re always here with me.

0:33

I appreciate that so much—my constant in this wild and crazy world.

0:42

Hey, Brent, James, all right.

0:45

Okay, and everybody can see my screen.

0:46

So what’s new for SBS for 8/25?

0:50

I cannot believe it’s already the end of August, right?

0:54

This year’s flying by.

0:57

I’ve got some really interesting things to share with you today.

1:02

First, we’re gonna go over our standard.

1:05

We’ve got some new content that we’re releasing.

1:08

I’m going to review it.

1:11

Brian has been working, myself included, in the background on what we feel is the next great revenue generator.

1:24

Everybody knows ERTC was fantastic.

1:29

Those that took advantage—we had folks that made $10,000 commissions on a single deal.

1:38

We know what the downsides were, right?

1:39

Sometimes you had to wait two years for that commission, but now they are paying out.

1:45

What we have—and I’m gonna tell you more as we get going, but I’m just killing time letting everybody log in—

1:51

What we have found is that, on a 12-month span, the average deal should pay the equivalent of an ERTC deal that you had to wait a year for, because this is instant commissions, recurring monthly.

2:13

So it’s as big, if not a bigger, opportunity than ERTC was.

2:19

And I had an experience this weekend that I’m gonna share with you once everybody’s on and we get rolling today. I was already bought in.

2:26

I already believed in this.

2:27

I already thought it was a fantastic, profitable, incredible idea because I’ve seen other sales agents internally to the company doing a great job. But my experience this weekend made me absolutely believe that the low-hanging fruit is not just low-hanging.

2:47

It’s falling off the tree into the basket, and I can’t wait to tell you the story.

2:51

All right, so everybody here, I think? Okay. As always, pop into the chat, let me know if you have any questions.

3:00

Everybody can keep seeing my screen? Fantastic. And I’m in Q&A.

3:04

I am all alone by myself in the chat, so I will be trying to balance. Thank you for your patience as we go through.

3:10

All right, August 25th. We go August 25th for a small batch.

3:15

Our Done For You campaigns are available, and our training today is going to be on marketing materials in Canva.

3:21

Canva is the most user-friendly graphic manipulation tool—and I don’t mean Photoshop.

3:31

I mean drag-drop pictures, add backgrounds, make headlines and word art. I’ve used it, and I’ve used the thousand-dollar-a-month photo editing software.

3:50

I’ve used the $1,999 garbage junk—bought it, put it on a shelf, forgot about it—and bought products from JV Zoo. Canva is by far and away my absolute favorite. I use it professionally.

4:03

I use it in my personal life.

4:05

I help my daughter’s softball teams make their social media post graphics. That’s actually how I taught myself.

4:15

It’s so intuitive and easy, but we are going to do some training on it because it’s also very cost-effective.

4:20

It’s like a hundred-dollar-a-year subscription, and the tools are incredible. It’s super powerful, so we’re gonna start. It has AI integration, so it ties into our AI training. We’re going to show you today some Canva basics so that you can work on making marketing materials for yourself or social media posts, etc. And as a little treat, we also used AI voice production for this video, because our next training is going to be on how, if you don’t like recording your own voiceovers, how to use AI with that.

4:52

So we’ve got a lot of really great information coming to you on this call, okay?

4:59

So our Done For You campaign niches are releasing today: solar.

5:03

We did a very intense case study for the solar industry.

5:11

Some of you might have been aware of a revenue generator product launch we did with GoMobile a couple of weeks ago, and they focused on solar and how the “big beautiful bill” is removing the government subsidies for consumers—credits back for putting solar in their house.

5:34

So it’s a really hot market right now to generate and sell solar leads.

5:40

So we have a case study email campaign that we just ran, and we have published the results of that campaign into the Done For You.

5:51

So if you’ve ever been interested in solar, the next four or five months are the golden era of selling that service, so I recommend jumping in.

6:02

We also ran moving companies, pest control services, and Med-Bus, okay?

6:08

So all of these will be added into the members area today and loaded into your Small Batch System CRMs.

6:16

I’ve got so much to go over today.

6:19

I’m not gonna run through the content.

6:22

You can review it inside the members area, as always. I mean, everybody’s pretty familiar, right, with the format.

6:35

And if you have any questions, obviously let me know.

6:38

We are excited about solar just because of the FOMO—the end-of-year opportunity.

6:48

So what we are working on with Brian is… you know, I’m not a salesperson, right? I’m operations. I teach you all how to do the things. Brian’s the sales guy.

7:03

So I want to be real clear that this isn’t the pitch.

7:08

It’s just information, and actually I was talking to my sister-in-law.

7:13

We were at an arts festival together. She’s a local artist, and she sells her wares at art festivals every weekend. For fun, I go and hang out with her. You’ve probably seen them around town squares.

7:28

They’re, you know, a bunch of artists and artisans in tents, and folks walk around on a beautiful day and purchase products, right?

7:39

So I was sitting with her in her tent, and she was asking me how my life was going, and I said, okay, well, you know, really exciting—I’ve been working with Brian on a new company.

7:50

And this is a company that provides benefits packages to businesses.

7:58

And she’s like, you know, what are the benefits?

8:01

Like insurance? And I said, no, you know, the big companies can provide insurance for their employees. It’s expensive though—it costs between $50,000 and $60,000 a year for a small business to provide a small staff with decent insurance. It’s one of the biggest expenses that a small business can have. That’s why it’s such a big deal with the Affordable Care Act, etc. And a lot of folks don’t offer insurance to employees, especially not contractors. And she said, yeah, I’m self-employed. Do you know how much money I pay Kaiser every month? I pay them over a thousand dollars, and I don’t even have my kids covered—they’re through Dad’s company, etc., etc.

8:52

And so she’s already getting it, right?

8:56

She sees what I’m saying, but I’m not trying to sell her anything.

9:00

I know she’s got insurance.

9:02

We’ve talked about how expensive her Kaiser account is for her family.

9:08

And I pulled up the website.

9:10

I was like, oh, I built this website and this is what it is.

9:12

She’s like, wait, wait, wait—what is it?

9:14

And I said, oh, well, it’s like telehealth, but with a lot of other stuff too. For 39 bucks a month, you get what’s called business coverage, and it includes telehealth for yourself, your spouse, and your family, plus discounts on prescriptions, dental, and vision.

9:32

And for businesses, it’s cool.

9:35

There’s social media monitoring, reputation monitoring, credit monitoring, transaction coverage, there’s accidental death and dismemberment.

9:41

So I’m just conversing about what I’ve been doing in my life and didn’t think twice about it. And she said, stop talking. I want to buy it.

9:52

It’ll only be $120 a month for me, my kids, and my husband. And I said, oh no, honey.

9:58

No, it’s only $39 a month, because one account covers your spouse and your kids.

10:04

She was ready on the spot, without me even trying to sell her anything, to buy four times the amount it would take for her to cover herself and her family as a small business owner.

10:15

And while I had already been excited about this product, I had seen that our internal sales representatives—the people that work internally for this company, not affiliate sales but internal sales—say things like, I can’t even get through my pitch.

10:33

These business owners are saying, shut up and take my money.

10:37

They are coming to me, just having a conversation, asking to buy.

10:42

I know how sales folks talk, right?

10:44

So I’m like, okay, you know, I’m sure it’s great, but you’re a mega talented salesperson.

10:49

You’ve been doing this for 40 years.

10:50

You could sell snow to Alaska.

10:53

Okay, I’m not like that.

10:56

I don’t sell things.

10:58

For me to have the experience, completely objectively, with my sister-in-law—who knows what I do for a living, who honestly is kind of skeptical about most things—for her to give me the exact same experience that these mega professional salespeople are telling me they’re having, it bridged a gap for me and I was just elated.

11:26

I started texting Brian, oh my gosh, this is so great.

11:29

My sister-in-law is so excited, and I was excited that I was able to help this person I care about so much to take better care of her family.

11:38

Her plan is to reduce her Kaiser health insurance to basically catastrophic coverage, right?

11:46

If she gets hit by a bus or has cancer, she’ll be covered, but switch her entire family to using telehealth.

11:53

Because she said, even though she has a super expensive Kaiser account that’s really putting a drain on her family,

12:02

She’s also paying the Amazon telehealth service $24 a month so she can use telehealth for her and her kids. And it’s not nearly the kind of coverage that we’ve got. So that is the experience I had this weekend that really just put me over the moon. Let me jump over—I got chatty. Let me see. Okay, James, so it sounds like you’re having technical trouble setting up your email. That side of tech support is not something we can help you with in Small Batch, okay?

12:38

Your DNS and email records—that is all set up with your registrar where you bought your domain, right?

12:47

Once you get your email account set up, then we can help you build your CRM, right?

12:58

I forgot—how do we find out about signing up for the health coverage you just spoke about?

13:01

Hey, Brent.

13:02

So, this is going to be much like the Recovery Profit System course was for the ERTC program.

13:12

Brian is launching—it’s called the Small Business Advantage course membership, etc.

13:21

And the only way to be an agent is to be a member of that course, right?

13:26

And so, in the next couple of weeks, we will be rolling out the ability to enroll in that. And of course, our Small Batch members are our VIPs.

13:34

You’re going to be the very first invited.

13:36

Brian actually asked me to put together a pre-launch for you guys.

13:42

So our next call in two weeks, I will have all of the details and let you sign up.

13:52

So James, send in a ticket.

13:54

I have both logins.

13:55

I remember you said I could just use the free Small Batch CRM.

13:58

Yes, you absolutely can.

13:59

You can use a Small Batch CRM for free, but you have to have a real email on a real domain that you set up.

14:08

So you will likely need to work with your registrar.

14:13

So if that's GoDaddy or Namecheap or wherever you bought the domain, work with their support to set up the actual email address.

14:21

Okay, so you have a real email address and have filled out the form inside the small batch membership area with that new address to set up your small batch CRM.

14:33

If you have, and you have a ticket, I'm gonna ask Rose to jump in and help you.

14:37

So yes, if you have a live email on a real domain, Rose can help you with absolutely everything else.

14:44

So reply to that ticket, put my name in it, tell me the ticket number, whatever we need to do.

14:48

I'll get Rose to help you with that today, James.

14:50

Awesome.

14:52

Awesome, awesome, awesome.

14:54

For the telehealth, right—yes, the small business advantage—it is a recurring commission. Okay, so if a customer, let’s say there’s a business, I’ll use my husband’s business as an example.

15:10

Robert’s Custom Carpentry. He’s a business owner and he has a family—wife and two children.

15:14

He has ten contractor “employees.” Okay, they don’t have to be W2.

15:22

There is no validation process whatsoever to prove that the accounts Michael of Robert’s Custom Carpentry is purchasing have any affiliation with him at all. He is buying 11 memberships—himself plus 10—and that’s all that matters, right? It costs $39.95 per account, so that’s 11 times 40, it’s $440. We’re just gonna roll up those five cents because I’m doing the math in my head, right? So he’ll pay $440 a month, and that covers himself and 10 employees.

15:58

He logs in, he completes his purchase, and he logs in, right?

16:02

His information’s already stored because he completed the purchase—he’s the business owner.

16:06

He receives a Business Sense account, which has some additional benefits for business owners.

16:12

Like I said, credit monitoring, etc.—there are some business-specific benefits, right?

16:20

And then he has 10 slots or memberships for his employees. He has purchased them.

16:27

The other 10 memberships are HelpSense accounts. These are people that don’t have their own businesses.

16:31

They don’t need business function features, etc.

16:36

But the business owner has received additional benefits for the same price as the employees.

16:42

That is a benefit to the business owner, right?

16:45

All the business owner, Michael, has to do then is type in all of his employees’ names and email addresses, okay? And then the system delivers to them a welcome onboarding email for their new HelpSense accounts.

17:00

And then the employee, the contractor—any of those new members—simply log into their new paid-for HelpSense account, and they are walked through using all of their benefits, including telehealth, prescription discounts, dental and vision. And what makes this just so awesome is for the business owner, the return on investment for that 40 bucks per person is huge, right?

17:30

So ask a business owner, have you ever lost because your employee was sitting in a waiting room all day, or worse, have you lost a week of work because your employee didn’t take care of that sinus infection, right?

17:46

Or the flu—they didn’t get medicine, and so they couldn’t work.

17:49

Business owners know if their employees can’t work, they’re not making money, right?

17:54

So the ability for an employee to spend 15–20 minutes on a telehealth call in their car on their lunch break and be taken care of, right?

18:06

30 minutes instead of a day’s lost labor, and they stay healthier because they’re taking care of themselves, save a week’s lost labor and multiply that times 10 over the course of the year—the ROI on one employee not taking that week off can essentially, you know, and this is rough math, right—pay for a year’s worth of taking care of every employee. Not to mention the ability to add this benefits package to employees for retention and employee satisfaction.

18:39

It goes on and on and on.

18:41

So you, as the referral agent, your compensation is $5 per membership, per deal, right?

18:56

So on that 11-member transaction, that’s 55 bucks every month. A business with a hundred accounts, $500 a month, right? And all you do is sell it once, and then it turns over to the company. We take care of the customer, we retain the customer, right? So these sales add up really fast, right? So imagine, like I said, a $500 deal, right? A business with 500 employees—$500 a month for 12 months, $6,500, right?

19:41

Is that math right? 12 times 5.

19:45

That’s the average commission on a single ERTC deal that you waited two months to get, right? So you do that over and over and over.

19:54

It’s so scalable. It grows so quickly. The opportunity is massive.

20:01

As agents, you’ll have a sales website, right—just like with ERTC—a dynamic website that you will just simply share your link, and anyone who signs up on your link, you will get commissioned through. There’s going to be an agent dashboard where you can track all your deals and see that they’ve paid, and track your commissions and everything you’ve been paid. And we will be releasing marketing materials, and I will be building those marketing materials in Canva—and there’s our tie-in. We’ve come full circle.

20:32

So here we’re going to go through some quick Canva training.

20:36

The way I’ll be delivering all of these marketing materials for the small business advantages: I will build them in Canva, and I will share the template with you, and you’ll be able to go in and put in your link, your email, your phone number.

20:48

There’ll be business cards, flyers.

20:50

We’re going to have social media posts, graphics.

20:53

It’s going to be a complete marketing suite done for you, right, with very simple customization.

21:01

Um, uh, folks are asking, how do I join?

21:04

How much is it? All of that is still in the finalization, right?

21:09

In the next couple of weeks—like I said, Brian has asked me to roll out a pre-launch for y'all.

21:15

So once all of the pricing and enrollment and everything is perfected, we will be releasing all of that information today.

21:23

I just really wanted to share with you that this is our future, right, that we see. ERTC was amazing.

21:33

It changed the lives of agents, internally and businesses, and we really built the passion for helping people, and that extends to you, small business.

21:48

I'm sorry, we've got too much—small batch system members, right—helping you grow, helping businesses be more profitable with happier employees and great ROI on keeping those employees healthy, retaining quality support, and giving you the ability to grow your profits and revenue with an incredible offer that's well-supported and well-executed. We're very, very excited to roll that out. So I don't have a link for you to buy.

22:28

I don't have pricing or anything like that.

22:30

I just wanted to share my personal experience over the weekend. I mean, it really did—it fell in my lap. I wasn't even trying.

22:38

It never occurred to me to try, and she did.

22:41

She stopped me and said, I want to sign up right now. So that was fantastic.

22:45

Whatever happened to the ERTC similar thing for self-employed, or is this it?

22:49

Okay, so the self-employment tax credit was a bust.

22:56

We launched it last year about this time, maybe, or maybe early this year—I’m not sure, I honestly don’t remember. They nickel-and-dimed it so much that folks were getting two or three hundred bucks. The commissions on it were pitiful, and usually the fees, the hard cost of rolling out the product to the customer, ate up all of the commissions.

23:23

So because it was not profitable for agents, we did not pursue it, right?

23:30

It had originally been a concept that was evolved by allowing agents to supplement with, yes, smaller deals than ERTC, but we anticipated that it would be a lot more than it was. But the IRS was just brutal with the way they ripped apart the credits that those self-employed folks could get—which is really sad when you think about it, because there are a lot of self-employed people out there who could have used the break, right? Can we do this being based in Europe as well, Edwin?

24:04

Absolutely.

24:04

We can only provide these benefits to U.S.-based entities, but some of our biggest, best, and brightest affiliate agents have been international.

24:18

Australia, the Netherlands, we have a ton in Europe, England, and Canada.

24:28

Canada—we have tons and tons and tons.

24:30

So yes, absolutely.

24:31

You can do this from anywhere, but you’re providing the service and the sales are for American-based entities.

24:40

Is telehealth only available in the USA?

24:41

Yes, yes. Is the Body Miracle live? How do I sign up for my own use?

24:46

The FDA changed the rules on compounded GLP-1 medication, and at this time we are not continuing to push the Body Miracle product.

24:58

I myself had to go and get my own prescription elsewhere, so we’re not gatekeeping. It’s just not viable at this time.

25:09

As far as Body Miracle goes, I will say that the medication does continue to be a miracle.

25:17

Last week I hit a very crazy milestone.

25:21

I believe all of you know that when I say weight loss journey, it feels like not big enough words.

25:32

I was over 500 pounds, and I’ve lost 50 percent of my body weight.

25:38

I’ve lost over 250 pounds now that I hit that milestone.

25:42

Last weekend, I wasn’t this small.

25:46

I mean, small is relative, right?

25:48

I’m five foot nine.

25:49

I’m not a petite gal, but this is my pre-pregnancy weight for my second baby.

25:56

So I’m ecstatic.

25:57

I’m 48 pounds away from the goal.

26:02

So yes, the Body Miracle was a body miracle for me, absolutely.

26:06

Thank you, Connie.

26:10

Let’s see, before I go into the training on Canva, I want to make sure I’ve answered all of your questions.

26:18

So I will ask real quick, is there anything holding anybody back from getting set up with the small batch CRM? Right, I know we’re gonna help James get set up.

26:29

I’m gonna tell Rose, as soon as we wrap this call, to look for your ticket so she can help you personally.

26:38

All right, I just want to make sure everybody is empowered to jump in, get up, and go. Especially, thank you Cindy, I appreciate that.

26:48

Once y’all—if I can recommend one thing to get into—it’s definitely going to be this small business advantage benefits package.

27:00

I’ll tell you the truth, that was a hard one. I was like, it didn’t feel like ERTC—it felt ****easy, free money all day, right?

27:09

This, I was like, I don’t know, I get why it’s good, but how do we get businesses excited about it?

27:15

And living firsthand the fact that these businesses are actively looking for a better way to take care of themselves, and then seeing how it can benefit their employees and benefit them through benefiting their employees—

27:28

like they’re hungry for it, and it’s real, it’s tangible, it’s immediate. Where ERTC was ****too good to be true, this is: oh, I can save thousands of dollars immediately. Oh, I can—my kid’s going off to college. This is me speaking, Vanessa—my kid’s going off to college. My husband and I have incredible insurance through Brian Anderson, right?

27:57

He takes great care of me. We have incredible insurance.

28:01

My husband owns Robert's Custom Carpentry.

28:04

We were one of the first customers of the small business advantage benefits package.

28:10

Because even with all of that amazing insurance, I still would spend all day in a waiting room, and I would rather use telehealth.

28:22

I had an ear infection. I paid extra because it wasn't covered by my insurance to have a telehealth call for her to get ear infection medicine.

28:32

I was paying for both already and paying way more than the small business advantage pricing.

28:38

So when it came out, immediately small businesses and average-sized businesses saw it. Where maybe we, as marketers and sellers, didn’t at first, right?

28:53

But no, they immediately scratched an itch that they'd been unable to reach for a long time.

28:59

There isn’t any actual doctor or hospital coverage available on this or in the back end.

29:03

I have someone that would be interested for sure. Okay, so no, this is not insurance.

29:09

This is telehealth, online—like doctor’s office visits. If you have something awful, an accident, a car accident, or cancer, no, this does not cover that. What about my sister-in-law?

29:26

Her solution was she’s gonna change her insurance that she pays for with Kaiser to catastrophic, like a $10,000-a-year deductible, raise that to the max, and if something awful happens and she has to go to the hospital, it’s there.

29:41

It’s not gonna bankrupt her. But for the everyday, the discount on her medication she’s found has been better with a service like GoodRx than her insurance covered.

29:55

And this includes an even better—comparable or even better—prescription discount plan and unlimited telehealth appointments for your entire family for $40 a month.

30:07

She was paying $25 a visit per person previously.

30:12

So she will keep both, but not everybody has to.

30:17

And if you don’t have the option for the insurance, this is absolutely fantastic.

30:21

So Connie, to answer your question—long story longer—no, there’s not any hospital coverage on the back end of this, but it is so much, so much better than nothing.

30:33

And it can even augment and help balance fully rounded coverage.

30:39

Can telehealth people give prescriptions, like for earaches?

30:41

Yes, absolutely. Yes, they can prescribe antibiotics, etc. You’re not going to get a narcotics prescription, obviously, but yes, you can get it. And that’s exactly what my daughter got for her earache. She got antibiotics. And then my other daughter, ironically enough, had a swimmer's ear, but she did not swim. It was something else. But yeah, she got medication also. And they just call it in.

31:05

And then with the prescription discount plan, she—like Melissa, my sister-in-law, said—paid less than what her insurance-covered prescriptions cost. She’s paid less with the discount plan. Here in Canada, our government covers all that awful stuff. We have private coverage for all the rest. Okay James, see, it’s the balance, right? The government covers the catastrophic, awful stuff, and you know I wish we had that, but we don’t. But the ability to not spend $1,500–$2,000 a month for your family, reduce it down to five or six hundred bucks a month, and then supplement with this—the net win for families, sole proprietors, and small LLCs—

31:51

It’s immediate and terrific.

31:53

All right, Brian’s not going to have anything left to talk about when he actually tries to sell this, will he?

31:59

And you know, this is my genuine, objective experience that I just had yesterday.

32:05

So I’m excited about it because she was so excited about it, and getting to help her is huge for me.

32:10

All right, any questions before I start the Canva training? Could you also talk more about the med spa campaign?

32:19

The contents of the campaign are in the members’ area because we’re pressed for time.

32:30

I’m not gonna, like, just read over what they are, but all of our niches are emails. They’re two-fold: emails that go out from you to med spas, advertising your ability to market and generate leads for them, okay?

32:46

And then the secondary email campaign that we provide for you is an email campaign that you can sell to the med spa. They then use it—or you would do this for them, provide the service—where you would mail this other campaign to their list, maybe their previous customers or leads, people who have opted in and never bought anything, as a way to re-engage with their existing customer base.

33:16

It’s the fastest, easiest way to generate fast leads for any business you work with—tap into people who already have an awareness of that company and their service. We call it a re-engagement campaign.

33:28

So first you get the customer, and then we help you with that re-engagement campaign so that you have a product you can go to immediately and say, hey, thank you for talking to me. As I said in my email, I help med spas. Here’s a sample campaign.

33:44

Let’s customize this to your needs, right? Do you have any specials? Do you have any discounts?

33:51

Do you have any membership plans? What would you like to highlight?

33:55

And then you customize this email. But walking in with something already prepared boosts your authority with that customer and gives them an instant, automatic win.

34:05

This person was the right choice.

34:08

They are prepared, they’ve already gone to work for me, and they’re ready to customize this messaging. And then you just load up whatever list of customers they’ve got, and after you’ve gotten their approval—because you are speaking for them, you want their approval with the messaging you’re sending out on their behalf—get them set up. They can give you access if they already have a CRM. You can work through theirs, or you can upgrade your small batch CRM to a pro version so that you can run sub-accounts, so you could provide them a sub-account to run their email marketing for them.

34:43

It just depends on how you’re ready to scale and what they’re willing to pay for.

34:48

And then you start drumming up business for them. I mean, you can turn that around in three days.

34:53

And so having that quick turnaround ROI for your customers really locks them in and makes me happy. So let me know if you have any other questions about that.

35:02

The MedSpa campaign niche, Melissa, I will help.

35:05

For someone who has free Teladoc services through their work, so this would be redundant, do I have to join to sell to others? John, no, you don't have to.

35:14

You do not have to buy the benefits, the Small Business Advantage benefits package yourself.

35:19

If you're covered and you don't need it, you don't have to buy it for yourself to be an agent.

35:22

No, absolutely not.

35:25

It is a good fit for a lot of self-employed marketers, but if that's not you, no. Absolutely not a requirement.

35:33

Sorry to say I don't open all of Brian's emails. I understand. I understand.

35:39

Will you alert us ahead of the launch, please?

35:41

The launch will actually be—we're gonna do a pre-special just for use on Small Batch.

35:46

So as long as you're here with me every other Monday, you will be the first to know, the first to be able to enroll and join the course.

35:54

This is for me.

35:55

Yep, Cindy, awesome.

35:57

Do you recommend having a Canva paid subscription?

35:59

I do.

36:00

I love it.

36:00

It's worth it to me.

36:01

It's $100 a year.

36:04

And yes, but I also recommend never buying something unless you've used the free version and like it and want more.

36:15

If you run into a paywall because you need to do something in Canva that you can't do, then that's when you should evaluate the cost-benefit analysis. I never, ever skip a free trial. If there's a free trial, I definitely recommend you get it. You know, it's a dollar, it's $4.99, whatever. Take your week, take your month, break it down, get as much out of it as you can, and then when you reach the point where you can't go further without paying, then I decide: do I really need to go further?

36:47

Are the tools that they're offering me for $100 a year worth it?

36:51

When it came to Canva, for me, the answer was yes.

36:55

But that might not be the case for you, right?

37:00

Morning, the—oh, I was like, versus Vanessa. You're speaking to me. Thank you, Carl.

37:04

Is SBA one-time or monthly for us?

37:07

Small Business Advantage is a course with a monthly membership, right?

37:11

And it will be fully explained by Brian when we go live, but there is an ongoing support component that has to be supplemented, I guess, paid for monthly.

37:26

Like I said, we will be providing the marketing material, the ongoing support.

37:33

There's a done-for-you sales aspect, supporting you in helping you make more sales, ongoing training, and hard costs associated with supporting the agents’ websites and dashboards, etc.

37:50

So there is a reason for it.

37:54

It's so that we can continue to provide you with the utmost support—not just marketing materials, but also actually being able to help you make more sales—so that you can scale your business and you're not trudging along with the minutiae.

38:14

All right. I don't want to leave anybody's questions.

38:18

These are great questions, but we are at 12:40, so I'm going to run through the Canva training.

38:24

I'll be here in the back chatting so I can answer your questions text-wise in the typing chat.

38:32

But other than that, I want to thank you all for coming.

38:33

Very exciting things on the horizon that hopefully are going to change lives just like the ERTC project did. I firmly believe that, and I'm excited to see it happen.

38:44

I'm excited to work with all of you making that happen. All right.

38:50

See you in two weeks, or if you have questions while this training's playing, I will be in the chat. Thank you so much, everybody.

38:57

I hope you have a great day. Hello, everyone, and welcome.

39:11

Today, I'll be sharing how Canva can help you create stunning marketing designs quickly, affordably, and without needing professional design experience.

39:21

What is Canva?

39:22

Canva is an easy-to-use online design platform.

39:26

It was founded in 2013 with one simple idea: design should be accessible to everyone, not just professionals.

39:34

With Canva's drag-and-drop interface and its library of templates, graphics, photos, and fonts, you can design almost anything—from social media posts to business cards and presentations—all from your browser or mobile app.

39:49

Canva is now used in over 190 countries by businesses, educators, entrepreneurs, and teams.

39:56

Whether you're a marketer, a teacher, or a student, Canva helps you share your ideas visually, beautifully, and quickly.

40:04

Marketing moves quickly, and visuals are needed all the time—from social media graphics to event materials.

40:10

Canva makes this easier by allowing you to create designs instantly without waiting on a designer or spending a lot.

40:17

It helps you launch campaigns faster, stay consistent, and adapt quickly when things change.

40:24

Canva has templates for almost every marketing need.

40:27

For digital, you can design Instagram posts, Facebook ads, and branded email headers.

40:33

For print, you can easily create flyers, posters, and brochures.

40:37

And if you're pitching or presenting, Canva also offers stylish decks and presentations.

40:44

Instagram is one of the most visual platforms, and Canva makes it simple to stand out.

40:49

You can choose a template, customize it with your brand colors, and publish a polished post in minutes.

40:55

No design background needed.

40:57

With Facebook ads, visuals can make or break a campaign.

41:01

Canva offers ad-specific templates designed to catch attention and drive clicks.

41:06

You just add your product image, adjust the text, and your ad is ready to launch.

41:12

Emails are still a core part of marketing.

41:15

Canva lets you design branded headers, newsletter layouts, and even graphics for campaigns.

41:21

This way, every email looks consistent with your brand and grabs your audience's attention.

41:26

Canva isn't limited to digital.

41:28

If you need flyers for an event, posters for promotions, or brochures for your business, you can design them quickly.

41:34

You can even download them in print-ready formats so they're ready to go straight to the printer.

41:41

Beyond marketing materials, Canva helps with professional presentations.

41:45

Whether it's a sales pitch, a marketing report, or a proposal, Canva's templates ensure your slides look sharp and well-designed while still easy to edit.

41:55

Let's do a recap.

41:56

Here are some of the best features marketers love: a beginner-friendly drag-and-drop interface, a huge template library for any need, collaboration tools for team projects, and a brand kit to keep logos, fonts, and colors consistent across all designs.

42:14

Canva saves both time and money.

42:16

Instead of hiring freelancers for every small design, you or your team can do it yourselves quickly and affordably while still maintaining professional quality.

42:28

Just to clarify, we're not selling Canva.

42:30

What we want to highlight is that there's a smarter way to create designs for marketing—one that's simple, accessible, and cost-effective.

42:39

Now that you know Canva, let me show you a quick overview of the app itself.

42:45

Welcome to this Canva demo.

42:47

In this video, I'll walk you through the basics of using Canva—from choosing a template to customizing your design and finally downloading your finished project.

42:56

Whether you're new to Canva or just need a quick refresher, this guide will help you get started.

43:10

When you first open Canva, you'll land on the home page.

43:14

Here, you'll see different design categories like presentations, social media posts, documents, and more.

43:25

For this demo, click on Templates and search Instagram Post.

43:29

Canva shows a wide selection of ready-made templates.

43:32

You can scroll through or search for something specific.

43:40

In the available results, select a template you like, and it will show a quick overview of how it will appear on your canvas.

43:49

Click Customize this Template.

43:59

Editing is simple.

44:00

Just click on any text box and type in your own words.

44:11

You can adjust fonts, colors, size, and alignment using the toolbar at the top.

44:39

Now, let's add visuals.

44:42

You can upload your own images under the Uploads tab or browse Canva's built-in library of stock photos.

44:49

You can also use the Elements tab to add icons, shapes, or illustrations.

44:54

Everything is drag-and-drop, so it's easy to position things where you want.

45:41

Once your design is ready, click the Share button on the top right, then select Download.

45:50

You can save your work as PNG, JPG, or even PDF depending on your needs.

46:06

Easy, right?

46:08

If you think that's easy, Canva has now made it even easier for you.

46:15

Let's head over to the home page and explore Canva AI.

46:25

Select Canva AI, then in the text box, enter the instructions for what you want Canva to create. For our demo, let's ask Canva to create a brochure for a burger.

46:44

Within seconds, it creates 2 to 5 brochure options about burgers that you can choose from.

46:56

Let's try another one. Let's ask Canva to create a slide deck about cats.

47:01

But this time, let's add a specific instruction: 10 slides.

47:14

Sometimes it takes just seconds, sometimes a bit longer depending on the request you entered.

47:25

There you go. We now have options to choose from.

47:30

But what if I don't like the options given to me?

47:33

Then just click on More Cat Slide Deck Templates, and Canva will automatically create another round of options for you to choose from.

47:49

Instead of spending hours creating a slide deck, it is now possible in just a couple of minutes.

47:58

Now, if you want to further edit the slides with the specific details you want in your deck, here's what you need to do.

48:07

Simply select the option you want, and in the pop-up window, click Use Canva Editor.

48:13

It will open the selected option as a new project, and you can go ahead and edit it as necessary.

48:19

And that's it!

48:20

From the home page to templates, customization, and even AI tools, Canva makes it simple to create professional designs quickly.

48:29

Thanks for watching, and happy designing
