[0:01] Hey everybody, how’s that audio and video? How’s everybody doing? I’ve shrunk my screen down too low, I can’t see my chat. There we go. Hey, let me know, can you hear me? So far, nobody’s talked to me in the chat. It’s been that long of a weekend. I see folks are still logging on, any audio out there? Let’s test it. How about now? Did I fix it?

[3:15] All right, because you guys said you heard me for a minute and then I was silent. Okay, awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome, okay. So what did y’all hear? You hear me talking about the call at one o’clock? So we have another training session at one o’clock. There are no safe seats. The guest trainer that we have was very emphatic that he only wanted people who were aware of what the training was about. It is about streamlining and using the AI systems that you are already paying for so that you can actually use them and get results. I, for one — I’m guilty of this — buying every cool AI tool. I do have a corporate card so it’s not as painful for me to do it, but for those of you out there who have ChatGPT and Manus and Claude and SketchWorks and Gemini and every single one of all of these different tools but you’re not making any money with it, this call is definitely for you.

[4:17] So we don’t have any safe seats, nobody’s preregistered. You had to click the link in the email I sent you to save your own seat because we want to know who truly, truly, truly is working with AI and looking to improve, or not working with AI and looking to get started the right way. If you didn’t register and you want to get more information about the call that we’re having at one, or you just want to download the registration bonus that I put together — the Local Market Domination Kit, top 25 local markets to hit right now — there’s some email content, there’s a personalization playbook, some worksheets, training on how to take email and personalize it. You guys know, because we talk about it in Small Batch all the time. But that is the book I put together — it is just a thank you for registering. So yeah, it’s not a show-up-and-get-it, it’s not a buy-something-and-get-it. So if you just want the bonus, you can go. But I’d love for you to get some more information about the call. Let me drop this in chat. HTTP BrianAnderson.online/622 — that’s today’s date — Reg, so Reg for the call. And on the thank you page, there’s a button to download this worksheet. I’d love to see you at one o’clock. I’m gonna be turning and burning right after today’s call, right there. Everything Brian and I evaluate to share training with the entire community, we always look at it through the lens of — can this help Small Batch? Is this applicable with Small Batch? That is our litmus test for who we bring into this community to share their training. So be there or be square, or if it’s not a fit, totally cool.

📌 Today’s Agenda — Mold Remediation Five-Touch Email Campaign Workshop

[6:17] Vanessa: All right, so today we are going to follow up on last Monday’s training, in which we identified that mold and mildew was the number one marketable industry. We identified, we learned about why it was a good target. And so today we are going to build the context into a five-touch email campaign together. As we all know, the goal is not to book a call too early. We’re not trying to send somebody to a purchase link. We’re not trying to collect money with the first email. The goal is to earn a simple reply that starts the conversation.

[7:02] A quick recap of why mold demand is driven by intent, not curiosity — like why is this where we’re going with the marketing, why we’re targeting these mold and mildew remediation and repair folks. So people search when they see a problem, they smell a problem, or in construction, if they fail at an inspection, they’re worried about their health and their property is at risk. So folks have a visible trigger — it’s usually stains, odor, water damage, etc. Their local search behavior — there are search terms that we can key into for when we’re servicing mold remediation folks: mold removal, remediation, testing, inspection, and black mold removal. And their customer is a trust-sensitive buyer — the prospect wants a credible local expert before they want a sales pitch.

[7:55] Okay, so the information that will help you speak with a mold remediation business owner, that will make your offer more valuable. Shared mold leads range from $45 to $150. Exclusive pay-per-lead — if a mold remediation service was to pay for individual leads that are not shared, that ranges from $150 to $400. And a severe black mold or rebuild project can earn a mold remediation specialist from $10,000 to $30,000. So the hook is — if you’re already buying or competing for mold inquiries, would a cleaner local lead path be worth looking at? So this is how you introduce yourself as an instant value add for local marketing services for mold remediation.

[8:49] So when you’re reaching out to those customers, or if you’re targeting them in any form of methodology — because remember, the service that you offer the mold remediation specialist is not limited to Small Batch emails, right? We’re using Small Batch to identify and build a relationship with the mold remediation business, right? That’s how we’re finding them. But when you’re delivering the service of lead generation, yes, you absolutely can use Small Batch, but you’re not limited to that. So when you’re targeting the buyer, you remember that they’re already worried. Mold outreach works best when it respects the reason people search — visible damage, odor, inspection, an inspector is providing pressure, “you can’t have your occupancy certification until this is fixed,” etc. And also uncertainty about who to trust. So they search with urgency and they filter with credibility. So these are all services that you can offer on a monthly retainer, right?

[10:00] So when we’re talking about reaching out to mold remediation specialists, the first call to action is a reply, right? We are not pressured with a sale from the onset. We’re trying to get name recognition, start a relationship, and build a conversation. So a reply sequence does not ask the prospect to do too much too soon. It asks for a single small signal of interest, and that’s the reply, right?

⚠️ Session ended early due to technical difficulties — monitor crash at approximately 11 minutes. Vanessa apologized and confirmed the mold remediation five-touch email campaign workshop will continue on next Monday’s call.
