0:04

All right, let’s see if I can get my I’m muted in about five different places.

0:09

I want to make sure you guys can hear me. Is everybody here, and how is the audio, and can you see my screen?

0:18

Hope you had a great weekend. Yes. Hey Connie. Yeah. Hey Bill. Thanks for joining us.

0:25

Yeah, I rolled back into town late yesterday. I’m sure I’ve, I’m sure I’ve mentioned it.

0:33

My kid plays softball, and we’ve been at college showcases all weekend.

0:40

It’s literally not possible for you to reach me on Fridays this summer.

0:44

I have taken PTO from Brian every Friday for June and July because we are going all around the south, seeing coaches and touring campuses, and it’s that senior life.

1:03

It’s starting.

1:04

Hey James, thanks for joining.

1:08

All right, just letting everybody pop in.

1:11

But I tell you what, you think having a four-day work week is the dream.

1:14

It’s not because you still have five days’ worth of work, only four days to do it, and then being gone all weekend.

1:21

Things like grocery shopping and laundry don’t get done.

1:25

So it’s an exciting time, it’s a busy time, but I wouldn’t trade it.

1:34

Precious, precious time with the baby, the last kiddo.

1:37

I know that grinding has helped many players over the years.

1:40

I know you did, Steve.

1:41

It’s very exciting.

1:42

She’s got coaches talking to her.

1:44

I coached over the weekend, and I feel like this is unheard of.

1:49

I was always told this was not something that would happen.

1:52

I had a coach make friends with me and ask for my phone number.

1:57

And, you know, I was excited, but I didn’t want to be too giddy.

2:01

She texted me first thing this morning asking for a video on LinkedIn.

2:04

So I’m a proud mama.

2:07

Proud mama.

2:09

Maybe one of our small batch system campaigns can be for prospecting seniors, junior, and senior student athletes, prospecting for coaches.

2:22

I know I could have used some help with it.

2:25

I learned it all the hard way, thanks, Steve.

2:30

But it goes against everything effective io have form letters, cold emails, right?

2:36

They want it to be personal.

2:37

We could teach them, I think we could.

2:39

All right, I think we’ve got everybody here that’s gonna join us.

2:42

Maybe we might have some scragglers, but we can jump into it.

2:46

As always, as we go through, please drop in with any questions, any requests, anything you want me to slow down and go over.

2:56

It’s just me here, but I will be balancing, sharing the information with you that I’ve prepared, and answering any questions that you have. My goal is always to get you moving towards action.

3:09

So anything that’s holding you back, I want to hear about it. I want to make it better. I want to answer questions for you.

3:14

I want to get going all right so continuing with our commitment for 2025 to overload the system with done for you campaigns we doubled our goal for the week we wanted to get you to we did get for health insurance and property and casualty insurance some people would say oh well that’s just one that the the communication style who you’re talking to is so completely different folks who health insurance don’t generally offer property and casualties, so we do consider those two completely separate niches.

3:49

It doesn’t mean you can’t work both of them, it just means that we do have to treat them separately, uniquely.

3:55

And then we hit the contractor world with HVAC and plumbers.

4:03

One would probably assume that an HVAC company has more business than it can handle. Right now, we’re dealing with 90 to 100 degree weather in most parts of everywhere I’ve been lately.

4:19

And if I tell you what, when I walked back into the hotel after spending 14 hours on the softball field in 1100-degree heat, I was very thankful that they had their HVAC service working.

4:32

So, get ready for HVAC because when things slow down, HVAC definitely will want to talk to you about getting new clients. I acknowledge that June in the South is probably not the time to try to drum up business for those folks.

4:51

But we do have those email campaigns ready for you.

4:54

Okay, so inside your members’ area under resources, you’re going to see all the different campaigns, and you’ll see three different kinds.

5:02

I’ll just touch on this.

5:03

I know we talked a good bit about it on our last call.

5:08

First is generating clients, client onboarding, landing new clients, reaching out, and getting them to become your customer, right?

5:17

And then we have order fulfillment. How do you talk to them once they’re your customer?

5:21

These are not necessarily an integral part of your funnel, but some folks reached out and wanted some help. How do I get the information I need for my client to best serve them?

5:32

So we did expand our emails to order fulfillment so that you can talk to them about getting to know their business, so you know how to set them up.

5:42

And then our reactivation campaigns, where these are the campaigns where the easiest low-hanging fruit to help a business is to send a marketing campaign to their existing clients.

5:54

Maybe they’re warm or cool clients who aren’t actively paying, actively subscribing, or actively buying from them right now, but they have in the past.

6:03

So they have an established relationship, and they have an internal list.

6:06

So we have campaigns for all of our businesses that we help you lend them as customers, help you generate more revenue for them, quickly and easily, no matter what service you’re selling.

6:21

If you’re servicing a local, as a local agency, if you’re servicing local businesses, this is a, if you have nothing to offer, right?

6:30

If you’re starting from absolute scratch, this is a great starting point.

6:33

And if you just want to get out of the gate quickly with a new customer, this is low-hanging fruit you can put into action within 12 hours of them paying you, so that you can get to work and get that traction with them, getting results and activity going while you work on other projects.

6:49

So it can be stacked or it could be standalone.

6:55

So our plumbing reactivation campaign.

6:59

This is, again, speaking to customers that the plumber has served in the past, staying top of mind.

7:07

We all know it’s not a very busy season for plumbers.

7:10

I would think maybe in the winter when pipes start freezing, right?

7:15

But staying top of mind when that shower backs up, when that toilet leaks, when that pipe bursts, right?

7:25

Having a reputation and consistent relationship with someone that you served well in the past, they’re not going to Google Plumber in the area.

7:35

They’re just going to think of your client.

7:37

So that’s what we want.

7:39

Insurance, property, and casualty.

7:43

Casualty. Insurance agents can offer to review their rates.

7:49

Because agents are brokering out deals.

7:51

They don’t work with just one company unless it’s progressive.

7:54

Ways that you can reach out to your past insurance customers are to say, Hey, let’s set up a meeting to review your situation.

8:03

Even if your situation has changed, happy to walk you through your options.

8:06

Proactively saving someone money is the best way to have them be a loyal customer forever.

8:12

This personally strikes a chord with me because I realized that my husband has left us with the same insurance company for about 12 years.

8:20

We’ve never reevaluated, we’ve never shopped it around, we’ve never asked them, and they have never once come to us and said, hey, I think I can save you money.

8:27

They have told us, Hey, your premiums are increasing.

8:29

So this one hits close to home for me is if I got this email from my agent, I would have a different mindset about them.

8:38

I would not be shopping for a new insurance agent like I currently am.

8:42

They could have retained my business.

8:45

Same for health and HVAC.

8:49

Again, most HVAC businesses probably aren’t desperate for work right now, but this is a great service for the slower times.

9:01

It can help folks get on if the HVAC company offers a service plan, either an annual or monthly subscription, where they come out and service the unit once or twice a year, and it gives them a discount if there are any problems.

9:18

Again, this is specific to the company that you are working for.

9:22

That’s part of the fulfillment questionnaire emails that we set up.

9:28

Finding out what your client offers and working with them to tailor their email campaigns to their past clients to maximize their strengths.

9:40

That’s key, right?

9:42

Because not every HVAC company is going to offer a service plan.

9:46

You do need to make sure that you are speaking in the voice of your client.

9:51

And as always, it’s super easy to set up a done-for-you campaign with us using these done-for-you emails with content as a starting point.

10:03

You can always grab these emails, download by making a copy of the Google Doc, download it to Word, whatever.

10:09

Work with your client to customize these emails to their offerings.

10:13

And then we will still set up the email campaigns for you for your client.

10:17

You just send us the Word doc that you’ve edited.

10:20

Easy, okay?

10:24

All right, so here’s what we talked about.

10:25

I think I jumped ahead to client onboarding.

10:27

This is where you’re getting clients into your funnel.

10:33

So, for plumbers, I hope this message finds you well.

10:35

I work with plumbing businesses like yours to help them land more local service clients.

10:39

Again, it is purely generation.

10:42

Use our system to grab lists of plumbers, insurance agents, and HVAC providers, grab their emails, and then use these emails to market to them so that they will hire you.

10:59

These are examples of those emails.

11:03

Again, all fully customizable.

11:06

Simply download them and make any edits that you want, and then give us that Word doc, and we will send it to you.

11:15

Order fulfillment.

11:16

Here’s where we do the questionnaire.

11:18

Like for a plumber, here’s what we need to do.

11:20

We need to approve your Legion campaign.

11:22

Like, what do you offer?

11:23

Emergency plumbing, drain cleaning, et cetera.

11:26

Connect your calendar, preferred booking system so that we can help you get appointments.

11:29

Schedule your startup session so we can align on goals.

11:32

Here’s where you can customize for what you are offering.

11:36

What do you want to do?

11:37

If you don’t want to have a startup session, we highly recommend you do. But if you don’t, you can change all that, and we will use your customizations in your campaign.

11:51

We only want to speak for you using the words that you want to use.

11:54

You can change it as much or as little as you want.

11:56

You can start from scratch, or you can start here.

12:00

But we do recommend that once you get a client, you have an onboarding sequence that engages your customer so that you are immediately providing, if not immediate results, immediate action, so they know that you’re on it.

12:14

You’re not just going to take their money and disappear; you have a plan, and you’re ready to move forward. And they’re looking for guidance.

12:21

They don’t know what they’re doing. You’re the expert, right? Any questions so far?

12:26

Let me know if I’m going too fast, right? Here for the health, fulfilling orders, right?

12:34

We’ve got individual, family, Medicare, and CA. So we’re using industry terms.

12:39

So again, it enhances the perception that you are the expert.

12:44

We always recommend that you defer to them, ask more questions, but coming out of the ground, not talking about, oh, we’ll get you more patience, right?

12:55

Well, that’s not the right verbiage, right?

12:57

You wanna have an awareness that you’re speaking to them in their language, but not necessarily that you know the ins and outs of their specific business, but you know the industry.

13:10

HVAC, here we go, AC issues, don’t wait, neither do customers, our ready-made text reply templates, okay?

13:16

So this is talking about how the tools you already have established for them, the content that’s already there, they aren’t gonna get hung up on analysis paralysis.

13:24

They don’t have to write their content.

13:26

They can work with you to make it right for them, but they’re not starting from zero.

13:31

I think everybody here agrees, it’s way easier to edit than create, right?

13:37

I can edit all day.

13:38

Some of my best ideas have come from editing something that was already there. You know, stand on the shoulders of giants.

13:46

And I promise you this, I could write an email and I could tell you that I thought it was the best email to have ever been written.

13:52

Brian will take one look at it, make three little changes, and send it to the stratosphere.

13:57

Like, editing is a superpower

14:01

All right, so here’s what to expect.

14:04

These Done For You campaigns are gonna be live in the members area today, which means when you log into smallbatchsystems.com in the resources, all of these are Google Docs that you can review in total.

14:15

You can see the entire campaign.

14:17

You can download them or file save a copy so that you can make any customizations that you want.

14:22

They’re already there.

14:24

In your small batch CRM, they will be pushed out as is in the next 48 hours, which means if you want to do it yourself, you can go in and edit them directly in your Small Batch CRM account, okay, but of course, if you want to use the done for you, even if you have a Small Batch CRM, or if you’re using any of the CRMs we support, you can do, like I said, download the file, edit it in Word, or Google, or whatever, and we will go into your account, Small Batch CRM, or otherwise, and we will load up exactly what you have provided, what you’ve written, be that a new campaign or just edits the one we’ve got and we will run that for you out of your account and that’s available right now no waiting because those done for you campaigns are already live in the members area we’re good to go all right so any questions on the campaigns that we’ve rolled out this week okay if you have a niche or industry or business that you want to target let us know we are taking requests. We do have a list.

15:33

Like I said, we’re going to roll out 100 campaigns this year, two to four every month, or industries.

15:41

Each industry has multiple campaigns, right? But we’re going to cover a hundred industries this year.

15:47

But that doesn’t mean we’re locked into what we’re going to do next.

15:51

We will always stop what we’re doing and switch to what you request so that the next time we release campaigns, what you want is available, all right?

16:03

So you can tell me in the support, on Facebook, or you can tell me right here in the web chat, okay?

16:10

But we’ve got some cool stuff in addition to the Done For You campaigns coming up, more than just small batch emails.

16:18

Our wonderful, talented small batch CRM expert, Rose, has been putting together, working behind the scenes on some explosive AI training.

16:33

And it is very, very cool.

16:35

You might’ve seen us talking about it a little bit in the Facebook group in the past couple of weeks.

16:40

This is going to be education that will help you across your business.

16:46

We’re just, it’s a benefit to small batch members, right?

16:48

Because, of course, it can help you write your small batch emails, but also grow your business in general.

16:54

So as a small batch member, you’re already involved, you’re already in it with us.

16:59

This is just additional training and benefits that we’re gonna roll out to you guys.

17:04

Okay, so why are we including AI?

17:09

So, we’ve just seen the campaigns we’re driving off today, right?

17:13

Solid, creative, effective.

17:15

Imagine what more we can unlock with the power of AI in our hands, right?

17:18

So that’s what I’m saying.

17:20

The ability to create content with AI is incredible.

17:24

And when you know how to use it, right, you won’t get that canned garbage, right?

17:34

I think we can all tell pretty much when you’re reading something with AI.

17:41

I’ve seen output copied and pasted by folks where the AI at the end is like, Did you like this feedback?

17:52

What can I do to improve?

17:53

And they just blindly copied the whole thing.

17:55

And then in their email, they sent the AI prompt, right?

18:00

So knowing how to use the system, what to look for, and how to humanize it can amplify what you’re able to do.

18:07

It can enhance.

18:08

It doesn’t have to be used in a way that, like right here, replaces humans.

18:14

Humans who harness AI unlock endless possibilities, right?

18:20

So what are we going to learn?

18:22

You see it on the screen.

18:24

That’s a lot of information.

18:26

Just gonna run through it quickly.

18:29

Again, if there’s something that you are very interested in, we want to know what you want to know, right?

18:34

We wanna teach you what you want to learn.

18:37

We wanna provide information that will be immediately beneficial.

18:41

How to write better prompts for content creation.

18:43

So I don’t know how much everybody knows.

18:46

A prompt is what you tell the AI.

18:48

You’re prompting it to do something for you, right?

18:52

Writing prompts well makes a million percent of the difference.

18:58

An AI, a good AI, and there are millions of them out there, will follow your directions, but giving good directions, communicating those directions is key.

19:10

But it’s a skill you can learn how to do.

19:11

It’s not a talent that one is born with; it is learning the tricks, and so we’re going to go over it.

19:17

This is something I want to learn more about.

19:19

using AI for marketing and creating creative materials, right?

19:24

Visuals, copy campaigns.

19:25

So not just emails.

19:27

I’m pretty good at using AI to give me words.

19:30

But there are tools that you can enter in a prompt, and it’s going to build a website for you.

19:37

It will build a PowerPoint for you.

19:38

It will build a marketing pamphlet, flyer, and brochure.

19:42

It will just make it, and they’re fantastic.

19:46

So I really wanna expand my knowledge and I want to learn from Rose on how to do that kind of stuff, so I’m excited about that.

19:52

Emails, newsletters, of course, social media posts, and ads using AI tools.

19:57

It’s cool when they start giving you the visuals that go along with the ads, the videos that go along with the ads, not just the words. Brainstorming campaign ideas.

20:06

You can have conversations, right? What do you think about this? Give me ideas about this.

20:10

So it’s not just generating end-use content, it can help you develop the ideas for the content for the marketing campaign,n etc.

20:20

Using AI to research market trends or competitors. I’m doing this in the ERTC world right now.

20:27

I’m using AI to research when we are supporting a business’s claim to their refund based on government mandates and shutdowns, as opposed to direct revenue loss, right?

20:45

So some of it is up to interpretation, right?

20:50

So I use AI to fact-check my findings on the government mandates that apply to a business, like the supply chain.

21:02

I research their competitors, their experience with their competitors.

21:09

And I use AI for a lot, a lot, a lot of that.

21:11

So that’s very, very cool.

21:13

Creating personalized customer content at scale, of course, summarizing customer feedback and data, is huge.

21:19

We also use this in ERTC.

21:22

We have an AI that runs through all of the communication back and forth between a customer and our internal team to give us key points of success and failure.

21:35

Like, okay, this customer reached out X times, and their question wasn’t answered appropriately.

21:41

Well, okay, so that helps us train.

21:44

We identify the weak points and we can address them, right?

21:46

And it does it instantly.

21:48

Where a human analyzing that could take, well, let’s be real.

21:53

When it’s small businesses like just us boots on the ground, we’re probably not going to do that level of analysis, but it’s very, very valuable.

22:02

Automating repetitive marketing tasks.

22:04

Of course, I like to say automate early and often.

22:07

If I had to do it more than three times, I’m looking for an efficient way to do it, which usually means a machine is doing it for me.

22:14

So that’s great.

22:16

Integrating AI into our existing marketing tools and workflows.

22:19

Like, if you already have something that’s working, how can we make that better, right?

22:23

How can we remove tasks, tedium, and repetition, right?

22:29

visual content generation, Canva, AI, DAL-E.

22:34

Again, this resonates along with the use of AI for marketing creative materials.

22:39

I’m super duper excited to learn about that.

22:41

So I’m looking forward to it.

22:43

We’re gonna go over the dos and don’ts of using AI and marketing ethics as practices, right?

22:50

Very highly recommend not copying and pasting without reading it.

22:54

First of all, always read, but yeah, the ethics around what you should do and can do with AI.

23:00

It’s an important area to go to.

23:04

Prompt engineering for creative problem solving.

23:07

So, more than just giving direction for the creation of content, there is help me figure this out, right?

23:15

It’s huge, that’s next-level stuff.

23:18

And hands-on with Jin, AI tools, ChatGPT, Jasper, Mid Journey, et cetera.

23:22

I’m loving Manus right now.

23:25

And Jim and I, I have Jim and I, it’s the Google tool.

23:28

I have it as my AI assistant on my phone, on my computer, and on my Google Home.

23:33

I have it plugged into every Google doc, sheet, slide, everything.

23:38

I always just tell Google, Hey, check it for me.

23:40

Hey, Jim and I, just help me do better.

23:44

So, going over how best to use these different tools, they’re similar, but they are all different, and they all have their little idiosyncrasies and tweaks, and tricks.

23:55

One thing Brian always recommends, he has me do this, literally.

23:59

Never just use one.

24:01

If you’re fact checking, if you’re improving, if you’re editing, if you’re always produced in one AI, for example, Manus, step two, use a second trusted AI, ChatGBT, Gemini, et cetera, and tell it, fact check this, have I made any mistakes?

24:21

What can I do to improve, right?

24:22

So run it through, it gives it back to you, then go back to your first or even a third, if you have that kind of time and money, and say, I have revised what you gave me and proceed.

24:38

So training on doing those advanced tasks and tricks, and things.

24:45

So we’re gonna go over all of this.

24:46

So I wanna know from you, what of this, what we talked about today, is where we should focus first, not limited, we’re not gonna stop at one.

24:58

So you’re not choosing between them, but I wanna know where we should put our energy first?

25:03

So, inside the Facebook group, Rose, on Friday the 13th, posted this for me.

25:08

I asked her to start asking ‘ ally ‘all, and as you can see, we don’t have enough responses.

25:13

We don’t have a lot of responses.

25:15

So maybe folks haven’t seen it, but I told her I would ask today on the call, where I’ve got a lot of your attention.

25:22

This is pinned to the top.

25:23

It’s a featured post.

25:26

Yep.

25:28

Let’s see.

25:29

I think I just got a question.

25:30

Creative marketing and creative materials.

25:32

Alan, a hundred percent.

25:33

That’s where my vote goes.

25:34

Yes.

25:37

Paul says, I had someone send me an email that was AI without editing, reading it.

25:40

It even said, let’s meet on Zoom with the Zoom link in brackets.

25:45

Oh goodness.

25:47

Yep, that’s what I’m talking about.

25:48

attorneys, which sub-niches are coming, which are current, if any.

25:55

We don’t generally do a lot of cold marketing to attorneys because they’re litigious, but if you have something that you specifically want, Scott, if you’ll send it over, I’ll talk to Brian and see what we can do for you.

26:11

But we learned in the voice drop days, if you were with me during voice drops, those lawyers man they get one phone call they were all over it but email is a little different but it can be rocky we have to be very very careful okay so if everybody can jump into Facebook and take this poll this is what this is what Rose is watching and we are going to adjust in the next two weeks we’re gonna adjust where our training focus is going to be and it’s going to be based on what you say? Yes, God, I know you were with me during voice jobs.

26:47

Did you get a cease and desist letter? We did.

26:54

So in the next couple of weeks, we’re going to start rolling out the AI training.

26:59

So if you don’t get what you want, but you didn’t vote, no crying about it, right? So we want to know what you want.

27:06

And we’re going to stack them and produce them, we’ve got to do it in a way that makes sense.

27:11

Like, we have to have some basic training just to catch folks up.

27:15

I think I’m going to do another poll on Facebook that asks you to rank how adept you feel at AI, right?

27:24

Like on a scale of one to 10, are you a brand-new novice, never once logged in, or an amateur expert who uses it every day?

27:33

So I’ll get that poll out later today.

27:36

Yeah, maybe a couple Scott got, yeah.

27:40

Yeah.

27:42

So we’re, you know, we learn, we insist on learning the hard way, some things, so.

27:48

Alright, so everybody, that’s what I’ve got for the day.

27:53

There weren’t a lot of questions.

27:54

I don’t know if that means that I’m presenting well or if folks are just still sleepy on a Monday morning.

28:03

So, Indy asks, is a small batch system any good if you’re only doing affiliate marketing?

28:08

Absolutely, yes.

28:09

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, 100% yes.

28:13

The Done For You campaigns that we’re sharing, we can service more people, a broader audience, and write these campaigns than we can affiliate marketers.

28:25

And the reason for that is, affiliate marketers are selling a million different things, right?

28:30

So we can’t do done for you, universal evergreen emails for you guys.

28:37

So, a lot of times, you’ll hear a lot of conversation on these calls about local marketing.

28:41

It’s only because this is the kind of content I can make for you, right?

28:46

When you are promoting an affiliate product, 99% of the time that product the person who makes and sells that product is going to pay you to promote them. They’re going to give you marketing materials, right? Right. You get a lead capture page, you get an affiliate link, you get content, swipe, emails, marketing materials, flyers, pictures, images, graphics, videos, blah, blah, blah.

29:09

Right? What you can do to use SmallBatch is take that content and put together your email campaign.

29:18

Simply write an email campaign or use what they give you or use what they give you to make your own, however you want to.

29:26

And it could be as much as you want.

29:27

You could write five emails and have one go every day for five days.

29:31

You could write 50 emails and have one go every other day for 100 days, however you want to do it.

29:38

There is no limit.

29:40

Send it to us in that Word doc using the done-for-you campaign request form, and just click this where it asks you what campaign you want to run.

29:48

Just choose, I have my campaign, and then attach that campaign to your affiliate product, right? And we will do it for you. You can use any list. We have direct marketing lists.

30:00

You can use lists that you’ve generated yourself, that you’ve purchased, that you’ve scraped, that you’ve bought, whatever list you want to use from us or somebody else, and we will run your affiliate campaigns for you, indeed. Perfect.

30:14

Is this session taped, and will it appear on our site? Yes, Alan. Absolutely yes.

30:19

Every call that we have is unless there’s some unforeseen technical fiasco.

30:25

And we put it in the members area within 24 hours, so smallbatchsystem.com, and then go to the Members Only tab, and that’s where all of the recordings are shared.

30:38

And we also do, thank you, AI, transcripts of these calls.

30:43

So you’ll be able to just search the written transcript to see what we talked about and then find it, it’s like timestamps, so that you can find the video.

30:53

So you don’t have to listen to everything every time.

30:57

You can review it quickly.

31:00

How do I use Small Batch to acquire new subscribers for affiliate campaigns?

31:06

That’s an interesting question, James.

31:07

So you’re looking to use cold email to generate an email list.

31:12

Is that what you’re asking?

31:18

Yes.

31:19

Okay, so in the Small Batch system, one of the services we offer is an email list, right?

31:28

Let me, I’m going to jump into the members area and walk you through it, so hold on, let me pause my screen.

31:41

Small Batch system.

31:47

All right.

31:48

My screen is still frozen while I log in.

31:50

Give me two shakes of a lamb’s tail.

31:56

All right. Everybody see my screen?

31:59

So, Alan’s got a question about using the done-for-you, and James has a question about building a list.

32:05

And Indy wants to say, this helps a lot. I appreciate it, Indy. That’s what we’re here for.

32:10

We want to help a lot. How do I change my name, Indy? Oh, but I’m Dwight.

32:16

Hey, inside go to webinar up at the top where it says, where you’re logged in, you can do under file, there’s a drop down that says edit your name and email.

32:27

Okay, so I’m logged in to smallbatchsystem.com. This is the members’ area. Okay, I’m gonna jump in.

32:34

All right, everybody familiar with the members’ area?

32:37

Stop me if I’m going too fast, but this is where you go. As soon as you’ve joined, you log in.

32:44

This is the members’ area. Under resources, these are campaigns, some FAQs, right?

32:57

But what y’all are asking about is the done-for-you. Okay, so first, how do you get a list?

33:03

Bonus, DFY, unlimited lead generation. So, James, this is what I would do first.

33:09

You can request a list every single day, and when I say unlimited, the unlimited is that we do not cap the results.

33:19

So if you are sending a product to, let me think, how can I give an example?

33:29

Alright, so the best way to think about it is everybody who owns a business, right, they’re a consumer too.

33:34

So, you don’t have to just grab a list of emails to quote consumers, right?

33:41

All of our list generation is going to go to a person who could potentially buy something, but you want to think about your product and the stereotypical kind of person, maybe what kind of business would that person be in for the product you’re selling.

33:59

So if you’re selling health and wellness, or skincare, or vitamins, or diet, right?

34:07

An industry that you could use to build your list when you search your niche, right?

34:14

chiropractor, child care center, let’s see, dentist, dental services, cosmetic surgeon, you see what I’m saying, aesthetic kinds of places, right?

34:27

Med spa, nail salons, right?

34:32

Because the people who work in those industries, there’s a, in the Venn diagram of running a business and being a consumer, those are the target audience, right?

34:47

Does that make sense?

34:48

Any questions about that?

34:50

So you don’t have to just get people who work at a coffee shop, right?

34:57

Could they maybe wanna buy smoothies?

34:58

Like, what are you selling?

34:59

It just depends, right?

35:02

You don’t have to pick a niche to send marketing materials.

35:08

Like, I wanna be a local agent marketer for a coffee shop, no, you can sell to people who work in coffee shops, affiliate products, right?

35:17

So it’s very simple to get your list.

35:19

Oh, and what I mean by unlimited is we’re gonna give you all of the people, the coffee shop contacts in the five cities and one state.

35:29

Okay, so it’s not, we’ll give you 500 per day, no.

35:33

Every single result that matches the criteria you give us, unlimited, we’re going to give you every result.

35:40

So unlimited, but it is one list per day.

35:42

Any questions about getting your list?

35:46

Are the lists just generated for prospects in the US, or can you give me a list abroad?

35:50

We can do it abroad.

35:51

Yes, we can.

35:56

If it’s not a US state, come down here to others and just list your cities.

36:03

Okay, they do have to be in the same country if you go international, but yeah, we can do international.

36:09

What about a list for people to market software?

36:12

James, if you’re selling software and you’re looking for people, it will come down to what kind of software it is, right?

36:19

And it’s like thinking outside the box.

36:23

We do have it, where is it?

36:29

BizOps.

36:30

So these are people who have signed up in some way to receive information on the internet.

36:37

They’ve opted in at some point, not to your list.

36:39

They’re not like a double opt-in to you.

36:41

This is a scraped or purchased list of people who are interested in biz ops.

36:46

So if you’re that, that’s a business opportunity.

36:48

So if you’re selling like a JV Zoo affiliate, making money with online products, then you could go with biz ops.

36:58

Does it make sense?

36:59

You cannot do it just for a country.

37:01

It does have to be a city, like inside America, it has to be within a state.

37:09

But if it’s like France, you need cities inside of France, but it can only be, um, I can’t do Canada and America and Mexico at the same time, just they’d have to be separate lists. Um, how many cities can we choose then?

37:25

Alan,, maximum of five cities. All right, so any other questions about the lists?

37:30

If not, yes, you can do Canadian cities inside of, are they called provinces?

37:37

Oh, somebody is just lighting up my text.

37:44

Okay, make sure it’s, oh yeah, Brian was talking to me.

37:47

Sorry.

37:49

Okay, so that’s a list.

37:50

Any questions on lists?

37:51

I’ll come back to it if we do.

37:52

Need it?

37:53

So campaign provinces.

37:55

Yep, like I’m in BC, first Columbia.

37:57

Yes, James.

37:58

So you would do cities inside BC.

38:00

Exactly.

38:01

All right, campaign setups.

38:02

So Alan was asking, How do I give you my campaign?

38:06

So everything we do is we try to make it as absolutely simple as possible in these little forms.

38:12

What are the fields you get for the list?

38:16

I’ll show you later, Alan, but we’re gonna do this for you right now.

38:20

First name, last name, this is you, right?

38:22

So, your account information.

38:24

So the account you log into when you sign in with SmallBatch.

38:27

This is how we make sure we’re not setting up campaigns for folks who are no longer members of SmallBatch.

38:33

So that has to be your email.

38:36

We have to warm up your email first.

38:39

So everybody is familiar with the warm-up?

38:41

It’s done for your service.

38:43

Account warm-up, you have to do this first before you can run a campaign, easy.

38:47

We double-check and make sure you say yes.

38:50

OK, these campaign platform login details, this is what platform are we using?

38:55

SmallBatch CRM, MailJet, Brevo, Instantly, et cetera.

39:00

Tell us. Tell us how to log in because we are logging in as you.

39:04

No, we do not set up DNS, DKIN, that’s all on you on the back end, Alan, you have to set up your account.

39:11

We don’t have access to any of that when you purchase a domain.

39:18

Your campaign platform, so you tell us small batch CRM, Mailjet, Brevo, et cetera, your username and password for that platform, because we log in as you.

39:28

Paid and free changes what we can do for you.

39:31

We just need to know before we begin.

39:33

It does not have to be paid.

39:35

We just need to know, okay?

39:38

So your contact list.

39:40

In the previous step, we showed you how to grab your list.

39:43

You might get 5,000, right?

39:46

5,000 results.

39:47

A small batch caps at 75.

39:50

You pick out the 75 people you wanna write to in this campaign, and you give us that list.

39:56

We take the 75 and we clean it.

39:58

We run it against an email validator to make sure it’s not a bounce.

40:01

It’s not a spam trap.

40:02

It’s not gonna hurt your sender reputation by using this list.

40:06

We clean it.

40:07

We start with 75, and we usually end up with 50 or 60.

40:11

That’s the goal, right?

40:13

So you give us your list, I say 50, 75.

40:17

50 to 75 is fine.

40:19

Your email message.

40:20

So the email address that you will use as the sender must be set up in your platform, right?

40:26

And this is Alan’s question: the DNS, DKIM, et cetera, you have to set that up and set up your platform.

40:33

We cannot do that for you, right?

40:36

Okay, the earliest date you would like the email to begin. So this is, I want a campaign to start on Friday, right?

40:43

You can either pick general digital, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, these are the done-for-you campaigns that already exist, or I have my email.

40:52

When you create, when you select, I have my email campaign.

40:55

You are prompted to upload your template. This is where you can load any email campaign that you’ve got that you’ve written that you’ve customized, right?

41:07

We won’t do it exactly how you give it to us, right? If there are merge fields, we will merge them.

41:15

Yes, James says, will you clean my existing list?

41:18

We will clean up any list you provide us and do a done-for-you campaign of 75 emails at a time.

41:23

What we will not do is take a list of 300,00 and clean it for you. Right?

41:29

I can tell you a service that you can do that but there is a there’s an expense associated with every cleanse and it is included in your membership but the way we throttle the only way we can keep it manageable is it is we clean these lists these segments of lists that you give us at a time.

41:51

Do you check the email through a service that makes sure they are verified and not people who are known to report spam, Alan?

41:57

Yes, exactly.

41:58

We make sure they don’t bounce. We make sure they are not spam traps. That is exactly what we do. What is the verify email function?

42:09

Paul, that’s a technical question.

42:10

I don’t know the answer, so send me a support ticket.

42:14

I will learn the answer and I will tell you. Will this go out on your email sender, such as instantly, Alan?

42:21

And this goes on in your account, because remember up here I said, tell me your platform and your username, and your password.

42:29

We log in as you on your platform.

42:33

So if your sender is instant, and you choose instantly here, it will go from you instantly.

42:43

Okay, so you get all the replies, you get all the activity, all the engagement, all the reporting, and you can see all your clicks. That’s all in your account. Do you set up the email sequences in our instance of Alan?

42:55

Yep, we log in as you and we set them up in your account.

42:59

Okay, did you see my first question about the ticket? I submitted last night to James.

43:03

I sure didn’t. I’m sorry. Are you just asking about the ticket in general?

43:10

We don’t work Saturdays and Sundays generally, so anything that was submitted last night will be reviewed today by the team. If you don’t get an answer today, please let me know.

43:20

Tag me on Facebook, open another ticket, send it to Vanessa’s attention, et cetera.

43:25

But you should get an answer today.

43:27

They started working on all the weekend tickets at 9 a.m.

43:31

Sounds great, thanks, James.

43:33

All right, let’s see.

43:37

So here below, after you select your email campaign and you upload it, we ask about Ways to personalize your email. These are some default fields that you can give us so that we can work to customize the emails better for you.

43:57

If that’s all done in the email template that you give us, like again, we’re going to use what you gave us, but we also have an eye out for, oh, they might have missed this, right?

44:07

And any email that you send us, we also run through our content spam trigger analysis tool.

44:22

So you can ask us to do this for you with an email campaign, any content, but also, before we run a campaign for you, we always check.

44:36

Because if we’re setting up an email for you, Part of our service is to provide you with advice that, hey, this is going to get your account flagged.

44:46

We will do it for you, but we’ll let you know first.

44:50

If there is a big error or a spam flag or a warning, we’ll pause, we’re going to come back to you and say, hey, this is the result of your spam analysis.

45:00

Are you sure you want to do this and risk your domain?

45:05

99.999% of the time, right?

45:08

We work together, we adjust the content, we get it right, because our goal is always the same.

45:14

Our goal is the same as yours.

45:16

Get your email in the inbox so people open it, read it, click it, and buy from you.

45:22

Who do you recommend we buy our email from?

45:25

I like GoDaddy.

45:27

Their support is top, top, top tier.

45:29

anything you don’t know how to do anything, they will just do it for you for free.

45:34

So if you are not super tech savvy, I believe you’re asking about the DNS, DKIM, et cetera, they will walk you through doing everything that we cannot do for you, that we cannot help you with.

45:45

Like we can’t log into your GoDaddy account and set things up for you, for your email.

45:50

That’s just, we’re not gonna mess with your third-party account like that, but GoDaddy will help you do it and get it right.

45:58

So, I always recommend GoDaddy because their support is worth it.

46:03

They’re not the cheapest, they’re not the most expensive, they are very fair in their pricing, and it’s 100% worth it because of the service and support you get from them.

46:12

Namecheap is another good one.

46:14

Yeah, I haven’t personally worked with Namecheap as much.

46:17

I cannot tell you that their support is as good as GoDaddy’s, but I can’t tell you it’s bad because I’ve never worked with them.

46:23

But I know a lot of people have worked with Namecheap, and they’re very, very happy.

46:29

All right, and while I’m in here, I’ll show you members only.

46:35

Click on the underline, not the upgrade to pro, but just right here, members only.

46:40

And that’s going to take you to, oh, I got to update these dates, don’t I?

46:44

These are all our live call replays, right?

46:50

And when you click on the date, let me make sure this doesn’t start playing, okay.

46:56

And then down here, this is where you can read through the transcripts or search for keywords.

47:05

And for our affiliate marketing friends, this is where we share various products that we think can help you generate more revenue with SmallBatch.

47:15

Some are products you can sell for a commission.

47:17

Some of them are tools that we think will enhance your business, and we stand behind them and endorse them.

47:26

See Cloudways is also good, James says, for buying domains.

47:30

Again, I’ve never used it.

47:31

I can’t endorse it, but James here, James endorses them.

47:34

James says they’re good.

47:37

Let’s see.

47:39

How do you know if you have a pro in the members’ area?

47:42

What do you get with the pro upgrade?

47:44

So the small batch CRM is free with your membership.

47:47

If you have not paid for anything to upgrade, then you do not have the pro, right?

47:54

When you go pro, it takes your small batch system CRM that we have created for you.

48:01

You must have a fully set-up and running small batch CRM before you upgrade it to Pro, right?

48:08

When you upgrade it to pro, you take that existing program that we’ve built for you, right?

48:15

All of the workflows, the engagement amplifier system, all of the nuts and bolts that we build for you in the small batch CRM, are built on the high-level, the go high-level infrastructure.

48:27

But we have built a custom CRM with automations that monitor engagement to amplify your results, right?

48:37

So you take the program we have already built, and then you click upgrade me to pro and simply purchase a high-level account.

48:47

It’s up to you; they start at $97, I think.

48:50

This, that is not, that doesn’t affect us.

48:53

but to upgrade to pro you buy it here and it has to be through this link it has to be tied to brian because then after you’ve upgraded to pro you have to request that we transfer the account we built on to your paid high level that is associated with brian that’s the only way it works Otherwise, you’ve just got a generic, nothing built in high-level account.

49:22

So you must take these two steps using these specific links to successfully transfer into a Pro CRM account.

49:34

And the reason for that is that with a Pro account, you can send multiple campaigns simultaneously, and you can have sub-accounts to manage your customers.

49:45

So it’s not required, it is an option if you want a more advanced CRM that we can continue to service with tools that use the small batch infrastructure.

49:59

It is completely proprietary.

50:02

The workflows we developed are not available anywhere else to anyone other than small batch members, the engagement amplifier, and the engagement coding system, and all of the workflows we built are only available here and can only be loaded onto a small batch CRM or a CRM that you’ve taken to Pro.

50:22

We are not using a high-level account under a regular account.

50:26

Alan, you can use any of these accounts we support, right?

50:33

The various platforms that we support are here, or the small batch CRM.

50:41

We recommend the small batch CRM across the board for everything, and it is free.

50:47

If you are using the Small Batch CRM, it is built on a high level.

50:53

So we recommend that this is the account you set up.

50:59

Did I miss your answer to this?

51:00

I have a $97 account already.

51:02

One sub-account is being used by my website agency.

51:04

If I want to market, let me see, my data is warm.

51:08

Should I use a different domain?

51:10

Paul, is the high-level account you’re using a small batch CRM that you have upgraded to Pro, and are paying $97 for it.

51:19

Okay, yes.

51:20

Then use a different domain to do cold.

51:23

Always use a different domain for cold email than your primary agency email, right?

51:29

So, for example, Brian has Media Mash, right?

51:32

That is his company email.

51:33

That’s how I email him.

51:35

He emails me.

51:36

We talk to existing clients.

51:38

It is our professional agency email.

51:39

If we were doing cold email, we would not use media mash.com.

51:44

We would use media mash.net, for example, or media mash clients calm right something similar to media mash, but different, and then yes, it does need to be warmed up um Alan, I don’t work with smart leads. I don’t know what it is.

52:01

So I can’t tell you if I support it or not. I think you might have done the same for me. We don’t do Snowvio, so if that’s what you’re using, we did not do it, all right?

52:25

All right, well, I think I’m running out of questions, everybody, and we’re coming up on the hour, so that’s perfect timing.

52:33

Thank you, everybody, for joining me today.

52:34

I hope I answered some questions that would get you over any humps you might have been facing.

52:40

If you come up with any questions later after we wrap the call, don’t hesitate to reach out to get support dot biz to submit a ticket, or let’s start a conversation in the Facebook group, because I’m not the only person who can help, right?

52:53

We’ve got Rose and the team. We’ve got 15 folks standing by to provide this done-for-you service for you, these lists and campaigns, etc, and they’re also tech experts on your small batch CRM account.

53:03

So any questions you’ve got, they can help you along with me, myself, and Brian are in the Facebook group monitoring and contributing to best practices, implementation questions, and how could get this to work better?

53:18

Those kinds of questions all the time. So frequent is the Facebook group.

53:22

Any questions, any conversations you want to have, post them there.

53:26

It is members only. My main address is jamesferns.com. Would I use jamesfernsonline.com?

54:22

That’s an excellent example of an alternate domain for cold email.

54:27

James is perfect. All right, and yes, Clint, this is being recorded.

54:31

It’s gonna go in the members area right here on the members-only tab.

54:36

You’re very welcome. Paul, James, Alan, Clint, everybody.

54:41

Thank you for helping keep the training relevant to what you need to know. Questions are the only way I can do that.

54:49

Otherwise, I’m just going to stand up here and give a TED talk. Right.

54:53

Alan, it’s not an email. It is a website for support.

54:59

It’s got support.biz, and I believe, did you get it?

55:16

Get support.biz, yep, right here.

55:17

At the bottom of the page, visit the get support team and submit a ticket. Click here.

55:24

That is a link, and it’s at the bottom of almost every page, so you can get support.

55:32

Alan said, I thought you said James Fern.

55:34

James Fern was asking me about his domain and what he should use for cold email.

55:41

It was not my email address.

55:43

That wasn’t my domain, right?

55:44

So small batch system support is getsupport. viz.

55:49

I am very sorry that I backed those questions up and confused you.

55:55

We are getting support,  viz.

55:57

All right, fantastic.

55:58

Okay, one o’clock, everybody.

56:00

Hope you have a great day.

56:01

Go have lunch, go make some money.

56:03

And if you think of anything you wanna know, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask.

56:07

We’re here to support you. Have a great day, and we will talk soon. Have a good one. Bye-bye.
